I.B.Tauris & Co Ltd is looking to recruit a Production Editor to join a dynamic team to manage the production of books across all areas of our publishing programme. The duties include editorial and production project management, copy-editing, proofreading, researching images, preparing jacket design briefs, maintaining accurate publication data and liaising with authors, freelance project managers and designers.
We are looking for an energetic and articulate team-player with a good eye for design and a zero tolerance attitude to typos. The role provides plenty of variety and requires a calm head at busy times when deadlines are tight. Previous experience is highly desirable, be it 6 months or 2 years. Regardless of experience, a meticulous eye for detail is crucial. Applications are particularly welcome from candidates with a proven interest in the areas we publish in.
Applications in writing to Stuart Weir, Production Director (firstname.lastname@example.org) by 13th January 2017.
